I made this cake for a reception last Saturday. The colors for the wedding were Sage and Eggplant. Thinking that it might be a bit difficult to make Eggplant look classy on a wedding cake, we opted for a Sage one with Cream Cornelli Lace and fresh flowers to bring in the Eggplant color. This is the first one of my cakes that has had fresh flowers on it and I don't think it will be the last. I love them! This is a spice cake with vanilla buttercream and covered in fondant with buttercream details. 10" and 6" tiers.

All I have to say is "Ollie, you are amazing!" I hope you post a picture of the cake you made for Dave because it was The Bomb!! Dave said it was the coolest cake he has ever had and probably will ever have. Thanks so much! You did an incredible job. Way more than I anticipated. Thanks Alot!
